Evolve Sports Quiz Championship is part of Evolve School Championships, operated by Elev8 India Sportz Pvt Ltd through this registration Platform (the “Platform”). The Platform enables participating schools and parents or guardians to register students for the quiz championship, complete school verification where required, and pay registration fees. Qualifier rounds are conducted as offline events at participating school venues. Quiz execution runs in a separate application and is not part of this Platform.

This policy applies to:

• School coordinators — adult school staff who sign in with a mobile number and manage registrations on behalf of their school.
• Parents and guardians — adults who register their child directly on the Platform, select an onboarded school, and complete payment.
• Student participants — school students whose details are submitted by a coordinator or parent/guardian. Students do not create Platform accounts.

Depending on your role, we may collect:

• School information — name, address, contact email, and contact phone (onboarded by Evolve School Championships administrators).
• Account data — name and mobile number used for one-time-password sign-in. We do not store account passwords on this Platform.
• Participant registration data — student name, date of birth, gender, class or grade, school association, registration identifier, photograph, supporting documents, and terms acceptance timestamps.
• Parent or guardian contact data — name, mobile number, and emergency contact details provided at registration.
• Consent records — parent or guardian consent checkboxes and, where applicable, uploaded consent documents for school-managed teams.
• Accessibility and accommodation preferences — recorded where applicable for a participant.
• Payment data — amount, currency, payment status, transaction references from our payment provider, and invoice details.

We do not collect student email addresses or student phone numbers. Parent or guardian contact details are used for registration and communication about the participating child. This Platform does not collect quiz answers, in-app results, or winner payout details such as bank account numbers or PAN.

We process personal data on the following bases:

• Contract — to provide registration, school verification, invoicing, and event participation services.
• Consent — school coordinators accept terms on behalf of their school; parents or guardians accept terms and provide consent when registering their child directly.
• Legal obligation — to maintain records required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
• Legitimate interests — to secure the Platform, prevent fraud, and maintain audit logs, balanced against your rights.

We use personal data to:

• Register and verify participants.
• Process registration payments and issue invoices.
• Support school verification of parent-registered children.
• Record consent and accommodation needs where applicable.
• Provide support and respond to enquiries.
• Maintain security, audit trails, and service reliability.

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Platform, including:

• Payment gateway providers (for registration fee processing).
• Email and SMS delivery providers (for notifications).
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.

These processors act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of participants.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Payment records are retained for up to one year, after which they are deleted unless a longer period is required by law.

We apply technical and organisational measures including access controls, rate limiting, and PII redaction in system logs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also lodge a grievance with us using the contact details below.

The Platform serves school students whose details are submitted for Evolve Sports Quiz Championship. A parent, guardian, or authorised school coordinator must complete registration on the student's behalf. Students do not maintain standing accounts on the Platform.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email where appropriate.
